2020年8月19號，熱帶風暴「海高斯」登陸後迅速減弱，香港天文台中午時分已經宣佈會陸續取消熱帶氣旋警告信號，香港市面嘅公共巴士服務亦陸續恢復。
不過有部分地區，由於擔心風暴過後路面狀況受到影響，巴士公司安排用單層巴士取代平日使用嘅雙層巴士服務嗰啲路線，其中包括新巴往赤柱嘅14號路線同埋往石澳嘅9號路線。
